Yemen Untold Stories explores the artist’s Middle Eastern heritage. Botz says, ‘I was inspired by the the vibrant colours and patterns of Yemeni textiles, and I enjoyed exploring and developing the use of triangular shapes which seem to be a recurring pattern throughout the textiles. Some of the shapes in the work are beginning to disintegrate as I want to give a sense that identity is not fixed and ones sense of self can break down and re-emerge into something new and different.’
Botz has created a dynamic visual image with an appealing retro feel. This work will look fabulous in a range of home or office settings.

Shipping Policy
Items couriered within New Zealand should be delivered to you within 5 – 10 working days. However, if the product is not in stock we will let you know immediately, and advise on availability and delivery.
Online orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, and if received before 12 noon, will be sent that day. There may be some delay with public holidays.
For our more valuable artworks, we use a specialist artwork courier, Pack and Send, to pack and freight the art.
All items are tracked and once the order has been collected by our courier, you’ll be advised by us of your track and trace number. Protean Art uses a signature required courier service for all orders. Should no one be present at the premises to sign for the parcel, a card will be left and the parcel will be available for collection as stated on the calling card.
