Mana Tangata Matua - Fiona Bryant

$1,250.00

Ceramic sculpture

40cm height

To own one of Fiona’s sculptures is to have a very special piece of art in your home.

“I express my artwork by drawing in the natural surroundings of whenua forest and tangata.  I have a great love for my forebears, and I honour them through the medium of clay.”

Matua stands proud and strong. There is wonderful detail in the rhythmic patterns, the sculptured feathers of the korowai and the delicately carved tiki. This is a timeless piece of art; a joy and privilege to have in your home.
