My name is Lucia. I am a self-taught artist originally from Cusco, Peru and came to New Zealand in late 2020 to start a new chapter in my life. As an artist I am driven by feeling and inspiration in the moment more than careful planning. I create intricate designs and like to let my creativity flow, especially as I get lost in the fine details. My art has brought me a sense of community and place in my new home which in turn has given me the freedom and security to pursue my goals as an artist.
